Internet of Terror

If I were a terrorist, I would be singing praises to the blackest hearts in the Universe for the gift of the Internet of Things, initialismed as IoT. Arstechnica reports 465,000 people with IoT pacemakers need a security update to prevent the device from being hacked.

Over at welivesecurity.com, a report on cyberespionage.

I often remark that the longer I work with information technologies, the more I believe in magic. Richard Fernandez examines that dynamic in “The Coming Age of Magic.” Given our Academia no longer supports teaching history, civics, science and now seeks to disruptengineering, the Dark Ages are one terrorist act, or just a hiccup away.
