OK, Whatever

Ragnar sends THIS.

I sampled Trump’s campaign rhetoric, analyzing 71,446 words across 24 events from January 2015 to December 2016. Using a program for measuring leadership traits in rhetoric, I estimated what Trump’s words may tell us about his level of  distrust and conceptual complexity. The graph below shows Trump’s level of distrust compared to previous presidents.

Plot spoiler alert– horror and fright ensues. He might want to ask Smith Hall if there are any coloring books left.

And what recent experience is it, exactly, that compels us to believe those who are styled experts and authorities?

VMIJPP hails from the star city of the south, Roanoke, Virginia. A 1989 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, he is a retired artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps, with time in both the active and reserve sides. He served in Iraq in 2004, and in Afghanistan in 2009-2010. He joined the magnificent OPFOR.com as a guest blogger from the now defunct but never uninteresting Rule 308, where he denounced gun control and other aspects of tyranny, and proclaimed the greatness of the United States. When the sun set on OPFOR.com, he migrated here with Keydet1976 and the others.

Would Trump go to war to distract from domestic issues? Like Bubba Clinton did when he ordered an air war against Saddam Hussein, another war in Kosovo, and gifted Afghanistan with cruise missiles to distract from his serial rapes and prevarications?

Or like Obama did with Libya, while flipping the bird at the American people by setting aside the War Powers Act as yet another law for other people to follow? Or Obama’s killer stutter-step dance moves in stumbling into a quasi-war in Syria while neglecting his war duties in Afghanistan?

    Why, perish the thought.
