“The Expansion of a Program Encouraging Estonians to Keep Firearms in Their Homes”

Oh, my, a very interesting article in the Grey Red Lady, found by way of WRSA.

I wonder if they let international teams enter?

God bless them and their neighbors.

Again, the Eastern Europeans– and here I do not except the Baltics and indeed highlight them– are consistently showing us the path to resistance. If only the Western Europeans (and many North Americans) would emulate them.

VMIJPP hails from the star city of the south, Roanoke, Virginia. A 1989 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, he is a retired artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps, with time in both the active and reserve sides. He served in Iraq in 2004, and in Afghanistan in 2009-2010. He joined the magnificent OPFOR.com as a guest blogger from the now defunct but never uninteresting Rule 308, where he denounced gun control and other aspects of tyranny, and proclaimed the greatness of the United States. When the sun set on OPFOR.com, he migrated here with Keydet1976 and the others.

Look up Forest Brothers. Backed by MI6 they kept the Soviets busy into the 1950s.

Yes, well. Here is my comment from over on Salamander’s porch. Seems cordite inhalation has made us somewhat alike, mon Freiherr.

“In the event of an invasion from the East, the Soviets, er, Russians, would implement a “gun control” program markedly similar to what Hillary Rodham Clinton has in mind for us. And for the same reasons. Though I know you are referring to the Baltic States and “kleinstaaten Europa”, I would put out the call to make OUR neighborhoods tough targets. As our enemies are a lot closer than even Estonia’s are.”
