This will never happen, but if SecDef condones and promotes it then it is “legal”

There are many, many laws, rules, regulations, and policies that every airman in jeopardy at every moment of service. Why shouldn’t pushups also be criminalized? Empathy, sympathy, Brotherhood, Sisterhood… these are obviously attributes we must kill off in airmen or the USAF risks the threat of another lawsuit from who only and ever have our airmen’s best interests at heart.

  3. vmijpp says:

More to the point, why is it that doing *22* push-ups is a challenge??

Bingo. USAF doesn’t want people flopping to the floor at a count of 16 like a mackerel in the boat. It would be embarrassing. PT and espirit de corps, and warrior stuff is icky.
