Firearms Friday: Airsoft?

Anyone out there have any insights on the best brand (?) of airsoft gun? Or is “airsoft” itself a brand??

I do not, I say again NOT, want an airsoft gun for the purpose of recreation. I want one– the version mimicking the Smith & Wesson MP 45– for the purposes of training, consistent within its capabilities, in venues where live fire is not possible. That is, my basement or backyard.

Lemme know.

This is a CO2 version of the MP 45. I have no experience with this particular gun, but you probably want a gas gun rather than spring. The two options for gas are ‘green’ gas, essentially unodorized propane, or co2.
is a green gas version of the MP 9, which has similar (identical?) characteristics. My sons have a couple of these and like them a lot.
