Police Shootings in Baton Rouge

Three dead, three (two?) injured, one of whom is reported to be in critical condition.

Things keep getting uglier and uglier. And the long, hot summer awaits.

My advice, or rather the advice of good men such as the late Pat Rogers and the great John Farnam is– Stay away from high-energy public events, especially controversial ones; don’t stand out; if you have to be anywhere near large crowds, figure out an escape plan before you need it; and at the first sign of trouble, get the hell out of there.

And, by the way– do we need any more prompting to go forth and acquire the means to defend ourselves, families, homes and communities? Seriously, do we? Take the steps now and encourage like-minded citizens to do the same.

OH– and although this is almost two years old, I think it speaks volumes, sad to say.
