Gun-Day Monday: K31 Run-and-Gun

You know my affinity for the K31. Today, MDL– a true K31 devotee if ever there were one– tossed this our way. The video is fun to watch. I’ve never run the gun that way, and the way mine is set up with a (very) aftermarket mount for the Leupold Scout Scope, I wouldn’t be able to reload it like that. Nevertheless it would be fun. And I do have a couple of the waxed cardboard clips. Maybe I’ll try running it from the prone, dropping the magazine and reloading it that way. Hmmm.

On a related note, MDL and I got our Hill People Gear butt cuffs and I affixed mine to my (you guessed it) K31. On a positive note it fits very well, very snug. I did not like it that it covered the sling attachment point, which on the K31 is on the left side of the butt stock. I’ll try it out but I might move it to the 30-30. In any case, the HPG butt cuff is a really smart piece of kit.
